Independent veterinarians are carrying a lot right now.
From navigating the essentials of providing care to keeping up with digital marketing and feeling the growing pressure from larger competitors, it can be a lot. A whole lot.
Many of these demands pull you further away from the work that matters most, caring for families and their pets.
By pure chance, I connected with Dr. Christie Cornelius, an end-of-life veterinarian who has spent years supporting independent vets as they find their footing in a world that keeps moving faster.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going into our first conversation, but it became clear very quickly that Christie and her community were people I wanted to support in a meaningful way.
That’s what led to the launch of Cohort 1 of the In-Home Pet Euthanasia Trust Program. A program designed to help independent veterinarians build trust through thoughtful, ethical reviews, so that the families who need them next can find them with confidence.
Cohort 1 is now well underway, and I feel genuinely grateful to be working alongside this group. The care, intention, and professionalism that all you veterinarians bring every day does not go unnoticed.
Cohort 2 is about to open up. If you want to join the waiting list, just get in touch.
It’s been encouraging to see so many of you already gaining momentum.
I’ll continue to be here to support you however I can, and to help you build a practice that gives you energy, let’s you live a life you want, and is a valuable asset you can sell when you’re done serving your community.
